Day 01: Arrive in Hyderabad
Go India heritage Journeys welcomes you at the Hyderabad International Airport to take you to one of the most fascinating places of Buddhist Tour of Andhra Pradesh. The representative will escort you to the hotel booked by us in advance. During afternoon, the representative from the company will arrange for the guide for sightseeing of Hyderabad. Explore the Charminar Fort, Salar Jung Museum, the largest monolithic statue located in middle of Hussain Sagar Lake, and Anandha Viahara, a modern Buddhist temple. Overnight stay at Hyderabad. 

Day 02: Hyderabad to Nagarjuna Sagar to Nagarjuna dam (155 kms)
After breakfast drive to Nagarjuna Sagar located at a distance of 155 kms from Hyderabad. Visit the Buddhist site at Anupa which is surrounded by remains and the ruins from the Buddhist times. Buddhist University was restored from this place after an extensive excavation which was being carried by the archaeologists. It was said that Buddhist monk Nagarjuna had been an influence behind the emergence of Buddhism during the 2nd century. Do not forget to experience the Amphi Theater, Viahara & Chaityas. After exploring the Nagarjuna dam, spend overnight at Nagarjuna Sagar.

Day 03: Nagarjuna Konda Island Excursion
In the morning after breakfast, you will be taken by our representative to Nagarjuna Konda Island, located in the center of a man made reservoir. A boat is available for your journey to reach the beautiful island which preserves the Buddhist Stupas and monuments. The remnants from the Buddhist past era have been displayed in the Museum of Nagarjuna Konda Island. Here you will see the remnants which prove the Buddhist civilizations during the 3rd century at Nagarjuna Konda. The excavated monuments are preserved at the island. The monolithic statue, the Mahachaitya Stupa, is a major tourist attraction. After a long day drive back to hotel. Overnight stay at Nagarjuna Sagar.

Day 04: Nagarjuna Sagar to Vijayawada (200 kms)
The Buddhist tour to Vijayawada visit the Amravati Museum. It is the place where the Buddhism was brought by the Kushanas of Mathura. Amravati Stupa is said to be greater than the Sanchi Stupa preserved in the Government Museum of Chennai. Overnight stay at Vijaywada.

Day 05: Vijayawada Sightseeing
Explore the Vijayawada city located on the bank of River Krishna, surrounded by Indrakiladri hills. It is around 639 AD, the Chinese pilgrim Hiuen-Tsang had come to flourish Buddhism in this region. Therefore, many temples were built at those times which were later excavated by the archaeologists. The great Singarakonda holds the place Chandavaram, which is just 50 kms from Vijayawada. The place is famous for Jagayapeta and Neelamkondapalli stupa which was established by the Mauryan kings. Do not miss the famous Jubilee Regional Museum. After a tiresome day, you return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Vijaywada

Day 06: Vijayawada to Hyderabad and Flight Back Home
After breakfast drive to the Hyderabad airport for your flight back home.
