India: Ram Navami is a Hindu Festival. It is the Birthday of Lord Rama King Dasharatha's Son. Lord Sri Rama was the incarnated of Lord Vishnu and taken birth through King Dasharatha's wife Kaushalya. This Festival falls in Shukla Paksha on the Navami which is the ninth day of the month of Chaitra according to the Hindu Calender. It is also known as Chaitra Masa Shuklapaksha Navami. This day is also important because sanskrit poet Tulsi Das started compsing its poem Sri Rama Charitra Manas about lord Rama's life. Lord Rama has taken his birth in Ayodhya to end the Rakshasa violence. It is celebrates by all around the Nations with a great devotion. On this day devotees start observing fast, chanting mantras, morning ablutions, they go to the temples and take bath in holy rivers offers fruits and flowers to god. Devotee break their fasts only at midnight by light fruits.

Some places in India specially Uttar Pradesh Bihar people start doing satsang and bhajans for Lord Rama. People celebrates this festival different ways in different states. In some of parts people orgnaize Ram leela a play about lord Rama. Places across the nation like Ujjain, Ayodhya and Rameswaram attracts many of people around thousands, from the country.
