New Delhi : The Airport Metro Express which will connect Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 will begin its operations from 2 p.m. today. This Metro line is of 23 kms connecting Connaught Place to the Airport and will cover the journey within 18 minutes.
The Airport Metro Express has six stations - New Delhi Railway Station
- Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan
- Delhi Aero City
- Indira Gandhi International Airport
- Dwarka Sec-21.
Each train is of six coaches and every is equipped with LCD screen which will reflect flight information for the convenience of travellers. For luggage half of the compartment of every coach is reserved.
The Airport Metro fare will range in between Rs 20 and Rs 100.
The travel from:- - New Delhi Railway Station to the airport will cost Rs 80
- The railway station to Dwarka Sec 21 Rs 100.
