Delhi: In a Spicejet flight which was coming through Kolkata to Delhi, a woman delivered a baby girl on board, Friday morning. The mother of baby girl Chitra Raghav was eight months pregnant and the due date was May 10. She and her husband Sachin who works as an HR consultant were hoping to have normal delivary but the Destiny had other plans and she delivered the baby in a flight.

The flight departed at 7:15 am and after 30 minutes Chitra started to feel discomfort. The couple contacted the cabin crew. The cabin crew took action and clear the rear cabin and laid a mattress for her. A doctor couple on board helped Chitra to deliver her baby at the time 9:02 am.

The flight landed at Delhi airport and after a short period the ambulance reached to the airport.
